Wood tubs are wonderful and unforgiving. Most spa companies won't service them; we built the company around them: wood-safe chemistry, quarterly resealing and staining, and care that keeps the tub tight for decades.
Wood tubs fail differently, and get ruined by "normal" spa service
A cedar tub isn't a shell holding water; the wood is the vessel. That changes everything about maintenance:
- Chemistry has limits. Sanitizer levels that are fine in an acrylic spa will bleach, dry, and degrade wood. Wood tubs need a tighter chemical window, held consistently: exactly what a weekly route provides.
- Dry wood leaks. Leave a wood tub empty in Colorado's dry air and the staves shrink. Refill procedures, swelling time, and "is this weeping normal?" are questions we answer weekly.
- The exterior is part of the system. UV at altitude is brutal on finish. Our quarterly service includes resealing and staining, so the tub that raised your property's charm keeps doing it.
Quarterly wood service, included
Plan members get quarterly deep service designed for wood: resealing and staining of exterior surfaces, a full drain with a wood-safe clean and refill, filter changes, and any maintenance or repairs the tub needs. No chasing a separate "wood guy". The wood guy is your regular technician.
Electric and gas heated tubs
We service modern electric and gas-heated wood tubs: thermostats, circulation, heater upkeep, the systems that make a cedar tub as convenient as any spa while keeping the soak that made you want one.
