FAQ
Questions we get every week.
Straight answers about maintenance, wood tubs, winter, and what things cost. Don't see yours? Ask directly: the owner answers.
How often should a hot tub be professionally serviced?
Water chemistry drifts daily, so weekly service is the standard we build plans around: chemical and pH testing, filter cleaning, and top-offs every week, with a full drain, filter change, and deep service every quarter. Tubs serviced weekly use fewer chemicals overall and their equipment lasts significantly longer.
Do you service wood and cedar hot tubs?
Yes, exclusively. Cedar and wood tubs are our specialty and our namesake. They need tighter chemistry limits than acrylic spas, wood-safe cleaning products, careful drain-and-refill procedures, and quarterly resealing and staining, all of which are included in our plans. Most spa companies won't service wood tubs at all.
Do you service acrylic hot tubs?
No, we service cedar and wood hot tubs exclusively, plus cold plunges and saunas. Acrylic spa owners have plenty of good service options in the Denver metro; wood tub owners mostly don't, and that specialization is why our wood work is right.
What does the weekly plan include?
Every weekly visit covers chemical and pH level testing and balancing, filter cleaning, and water top-offs. Quarterly deep service is included on top: resealing and staining for wood surfaces, maintenance and repairs, filter changes, and a full drain, clean, and refill.
Do you repair hot tubs, or only maintain them?
Both. Maintenance and repairs are included in quarterly service for plan members, and we take one-off repair visits as the schedule allows. Either way you get a diagnosis and a price before any work is done.
How do I know the visit actually happened if I'm not home?
You get a photo after every visit, so you can see the finished job whether you were there or not. It's also how short-term rental hosts and property managers confirm a tub is guest-ready without driving over.
Are your technicians certified?
Yes, our team is CPO-certified (Certified Pool/Spa Operator), on top of the wood-tub-specific training every technician gets before they touch a cedar tub.
How do you service cold plunges?
Cold water slows bacteria but doesn't stop it, so plunges get weekly water testing and sanitation, filter cleaning, and top-offs, plus quarterly full drains and chiller care. For gyms and studios with shared plunges we also provide documented test logs.
Can my hot tub run through a Colorado winter?
Yes, winter is the best season to own a tub here. On a weekly plan we keep chemistry and water levels safe through freezing weather. If you'd rather shut down for the season, we do professional winterizations: full drain, line clearing, wood freeze protection, and cover securing, then a spring opening service.
Do you work with Airbnbs and vacation rentals?
Yes, short-term rental turnover service is one of our specialties. We service the tub between guests on your booking schedule, with photo confirmation after every visit, so every check-in gets clean, hot, balanced water.
What areas do you serve?
Our weekly routes cover Denver, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Arvada, Aurora, and Highlands Ranch, with nearby areas like Golden, Littleton, Englewood, and Westminster by request.
How much does hot tub maintenance cost?
Every setup is quoted individually. The number depends on your equipment (a wood tub takes more care per visit than a plunge or sauna), how many units share a visit, and your location on our route. Request a quote and you get a flat monthly number back the same week, from the owner. No tiers, no surprise line items.
Can I get a one-time repair or service visit without a plan?
Yes. We welcome one-off repair and service calls (heater problems, leaks, drain-and-refills, winterizations), no plan required. You get a diagnosis and a price before any work is done, and plan members get priority scheduling.
